As the Creative Director and 1st AD I handled both the Art Direction and the logistics for this imaginative LGBT short film about meeting on the internet.
Grilled
Grilled is a half-hour dramedy TV pilot that exposes the chaotic and comedic culture that exists in restaurant environments.
I have been working on Grilled since 2019 and I had the opportunity to pitch the series with a team of peers to development executives at CBC Drama, Guru Studios, and Firvalley Productions. This is where I discovered my passion for scripted development.
Working on this project has taught me everything from how to pitch confidently, to how to calculate tax credits and I am continuing to develop the series.
Video Editing
Since May 2021 I have been producing a weekly church service for St. Andrew’s Church, Toronto. I work with the material provided to me to create an enjoyable worship service for the St. Andrew’s Community.
Having to meet a stricr deadline each week, I am well-versed and extremely efficent with Adobe Premiere Pro.
Not a Boys Club
As the producer for “Not a Boys Club,” I found interview subjects, handled location permits, performer contacts, as well as managed scheduling. This project was interrupted by the March 2020 Covid-19 lockdown. Adapting to finish the project without having finished filming was a valuable learning experience. The team I worked with is happy with how our project turned out, however, we are planning to finish the film as intended when it is safe to do so.
