Development Intern – Darius Films, Toronto

May 2021 – Aug 2021

  • Read a high volume of scripts, providing coverage and critical analysis, and watched rough cuts of films to provide detailed notes. 
  • Assisted with general research, completed a variety of paperwork, and assisted with creating cast lists and contracts.
  • Described as highly productive compared to other interns.

Creative Director & 1st Assistant Director“Bex Likes Frogs” Short Film

Jan 2021 – Present

  • Designed a creative vision for set design, props, wardrobe, and makeup, that was executed independently, resulting in a visually stunning project.
  • Developed breakdowns, call sheets, shooting schedules, day-out-of-days schedule, and production budget, among other paperwork. 
  • Oversaw the schedule during production, making updates under pressure to maximize efficiency and keep crew on schedule.
